This is a good recipe of heat and sweet. This recipe is so easy and you may diverse this recipe to your likening... We love the grilled taste in the wings.

  • (8 chicken wing) Chicken Wings
  • (or you may use 8 chicken thighs) Chicken Thighs
  • (unbleached flour for coating if you want or just omit and olive oil for frying optional) flour
  • (1/4 cup hot sauce, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup honey, 1 Tablespoon dark molasses,1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 2 dashes garlic powder, and 2 dashes cayenne pepper.) Sauce


  1. Mix together sauce ingredients and set aside.
  2. Cut tips off wings or cut thighs into 1 1/2 " pieces. Sprinkle with seasoning salt.
  3. We like to grill until golden brown.( If you prefer not to grill you may fry in 2" of olive oil 4-5 min, turning occasionally until golden brown.)(If you fry in oil you may coat chicken with flour also.)
  4. Place chicken in a 9" baking pan and pour sauce over chicken .Stir to coat evenly.
  5. Broil for 10 min. or so stirring @ half time.( you may omit the broiling and just simply heat and eat.)
  6. Enjoy!
